Keg at the brewery. Clear pale amber, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of spicy hops, grapefruit, pale malt. The taste is pine, resin, grapefruit, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber body, thick puffy off-white/cream head. Sweet rindy citrus nose. Chewy, citrusy body with an initial emphasis on sweet caramel, toast, and bubblegum, softly fading to bitter citrusy hops and alcohol notes. More balanced than a typical Double IPA, verging into strong ale/barleywine territory. Tasty.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy copper amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and sweet caramel malts in good balance. Flavour is along the same lines, with resinous hops and caramel malts, with a noticeable alcohol presence. A bit harsh, a bit sweet, but all in all, quite good.
