Draft pour at Special Brews, as part of the brewers night. First impression, super grassy IPA here. Golden pane pour with a rocky foam head. Bitter grassy hops. Aroma and flavor both. A bit of a nutty malt to it. Bitter bite. Not the crusher of a beer I tend to look for in session IPAs, but it’s not bad. Just a decent imperial session IPA for me.

On tap at Old Schoolhouse, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops and biscuity malt in good balance. Clean and well-balanced. Solid stuff.
