Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10th Anniversary party
Dark brown color, almost black. Aroma of dark malts, a bit dusty, old furniture. Good body, lean bit not weak, with limited residual sweetness, nice dark malts with a hint of roasted. Delicate fruity esters.
Balanced, clean, very pleasant.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some light dry cocoa and even some roast. Flavour is quite robust for the style, with roasted malt, dry cocoa and bready malt. Dry roast on the finish. Quite robust for the style. Very nice.

[2/26/15] Draught at Breakside Brewery in Portland. Dark brown color with a beige head. Buttery aroma with some caramel. Sweet flavor, buttery and caramelly, with a toasty note and a drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. I hate diacetyl.

Draught at brewpub. Pours dark red brown with thin white head. Roast and chocolate note in the aroma and flavour. Medium bodied. Finish has a second malt strike after the hop. Good on a rainy day.
