On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, cereal sweetness and subtle herbal notes. Flavour is clean and laid back, with cereal malts and not much else. Low residual sweetness, with a slightly herbal toasted nuttiness. Easy to drink but pretty boring.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. Very light aroma of malt and possibly butter. Mild flavor of cereals, of bread, not too bad, but also a light trace of butter. Correct bitterness.
Hardly a Maibock, which is not bad news, a bit thin, the flavor and bitterness are more robust than usual German samples, but also with a minor flaw.
I can drink it eventually…
