Bottle at 1900 Art Cafe. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. ABV hidden well. Nice solid roasty base, with a hint of smoke, ashy, tobacco. I do not get much belgiany presence, only a hint. Easy drinking, quite good.

Draught at Monk's: pours black with beige head. Aroma is chocolatey, slight coffee, soya, and hints of Belgian yeast. Taste is relatively dry, chocolatey, not bitter. Solid.

Creamy tan head on unknown body - proper pot glass. Medium to full bodied, smooth & clean. Liquorice, roasted, nutty & boozy tastes with a fruity finish. That's a tasty stout.
