33cl bottle at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pitch black, with very fine brownish foam. Aroma is very nice, though not intense, with roasted, hazelnut, raisins. Body is average, a little thin, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, well balanced. Final is fairly short.

Black beer, very thick foamy head. Decent malty smell. tastes of toasty malt, a little chocolate, nuts, some fruit. It's a little lighter in body than I'd like but it has a decent balance of flavours and is pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisins and liquorice. Flavour of prunes and Dr Pepper. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This drinks well for the strength. It’s less rich and dark than most other Imperial Stouts I’ve tried.

8,4% on the label! Beer gushes slightly and produces an enormous head. Very dark ruby brown color. Cherry aroma that promises a lot of sourness, but that is not the case. Roasted malt flavor, earthy, some cherry. A slight tartness. Mustard and grapes. A very unusual beer, some odd mix between a kriek and a stout. Complex and likeable.

Shared @ Koelschtrinkers tasting. Smooth mild beginning. Roasted caramel, very dry with hints of sourness. Smooth mild, sessionable with a fruity dry malty ending. Not too much bitterness.
