On tap at Old Market, pours a red-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is restrained, with light toasted bready malt. Flavour is more robust, with toasted malt, caramel and a decent hop kick. Nicely constructed and well-balanced. Good porter.

Keg at the brewpub, 11/11/14. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is light roast, cocoa, dark toffee, hint of cardboard. Taste comprises light roast, cocoa rub, dark toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so porter.

Draught. Poured black with thick lasting tan head. Aroma of malt and coffee, like a good fresh brewed cup. Full Malty body, with chocolate caramel and coffee notes. Lingering coffee finish, with more malt..
