Medium body, moderate bitterness, copper color, made with 34% malted rye. A rarity at brew pubs, this fabled 'rye' beer is credited with being one of the oldest recipes in existence. Brewed with crystal malt and both Chinook and Hallertau hops, this copper-colored brew offers a complex range of contrasting flavors.

On tap at Red Rock, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grainy notes and a touch of earth. Flavour brings out light earthy notes and a touch of rye. Light and unassuming, with barely any rye presence. Rather lame.
