Draft pour, tasted at Ravenna, Seattle. A slightly hazy copper pour with a choppy foam head. Soft aroma of straw grains and Belgian yeast. Flavor has a soft floral element, underneath a sweet banana. Has a thick grain flavor, that’s dominant. Equal sweet and spice. Light, but flavorful. Cool, almost minty really late. Seems to get better as it goes. Decent stuff here.

On tap at Ravenna, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, light brown sugar, and clove. Flavour brings out clove, Belgian yeast, a little banana and brown sugar. A little sweet, but well-balanced. Finishes with banana and dark fruits. Solid American attempt at a difficult style.
