The Cuatro is the fourth incarnation of our Russian Imperial Stout, brewed annually in celebration of our anniversary. It weighs in at 10.3% abv -- with a full body, and a complex flavor profile. It's a little spicy (thanks to the rye malt), a little coffee-like (from the roasted malts) and a little toffee-like (thanks to a blend of crystal malts and piloncillo, a raw mexican cane sugar). It's real big, real black, and real tasty. Hope you enjoy!

Part of a sampler at the brewery. Nice complexity, with vanilla and coffee playing together. Brown with garnet highlights and brown head.

On tap at Real, Wild & Woody Beer Festival, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon upfront, followed by roasted malt and a little vanilla. Flavour is heavy, with loads of heavy bourbon and vanilla, followed by light sweetness and subdued roast. Full-bodied and impeccably balanced. Excellent.
