Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin near white head. The aroma offers up spicy black pepper, coriander spice, banana and some mild peach fruitiness in the background. The taste delivers black pepper, sweetened coriander spice, a Belgian spicy yeast kick and then some modest fresh peach fruit. To midway it picks up a small island of sugary sweetness that cuts into the peppery and spicy notes to provide some additional balance. Pretty nice but the peach could be more forward.

On tap at The Beer Research Institute, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light pear, along with Belgian yeast and cereal notes. Flavour brings out a lovely pear quality along with Belgian yeast and cereal malt. The pear is very well-situated. Clean and easy to drink, scarily hiding the 9.5%. Really good.
