On tap at Big Rock Urban, pours black with a large light brown head. Aroma is both malty and hoppy, with lots of lactose upfront, along with chocolate and dry piney hops. Flavour is bitter and chocolatey, with tons of cocoa upfront, followed by the lactose and ending on the bitter hoppiness. I agree with fiulijn, that this is more like a hoppy stout. Finishes bitter and chocolatey. A bit abrasive but interesting enough.

Dark brown color, not completely black, with red hue; generous beige head. Aroma of cheapish chocolate. Dry mouthfeel, weaker than expected, heavy flavor of roasted malts, some chocolate, there could be some orange but that vanishes in the hops; a bit resiny, but not as hoppy as a CDA, more a hoppy Stout than else.
Decent.
