On tap at beer star. Pours out a dark amber topped with the tan head. Nose is light pit fruit caramel toffee and a light nutty touch. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts some light fruit.

Draft pour at opening weekend, rating from notes. Clear copper brown with a disappearing head. Heavy sweet aroma of caramel malt and a sturdy brown sugar and maple. Very nice brown here, with a low bitter nutty malt, sweet maple syrup without the texture to go with, and a nice hop quality. Overall, an outstanding brown ale, and the most memorable beer from their opening day roster. Very much enjoyed this.

On tap at Figurehead, pours a dark caramel brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and a touch of English hops. Flavour brings out toasted caramel and bready malt. Very malty and not really Englishy on the flavour. Nice stuff despite not being authentic at all.
