On tap at Cairn, pours a clear dark copper with a small white head. Aroma is very malty, with caramel malt, candied sugar, a very subdued resinous hops. Flavour is very malty, with lots of caramel malt, residual sugars, herbal hops and boiled vegetables. Bizarre; not terrible but not target.

Draft pour at Cairn. Trail themed brewery. Trail themed beer. Trail frequent rater. Fitting. Lights shiny golden pour with a thin halo head. Subtle sweetness aroma with little else to couple with. Very little flavor going on. Crisp I suppose. Apple like grains small.sweetness, and a modest hop finish. So little going on here. Not enough to dislike, but not much to praise either.
