Can. A murky deep red, borderline purple, beer with a finger thick pink head leaving lacing. Lots of blackcurrant on the nose, with lemony hints and bready yeast. Pretty similar flavor, with a tad more focus on blackcurrant, though in a juiced kind. Smooth, full body and soft carbonation. Quite dry, lightly sour, with a fruity sweetness. Lasting blackcurrant finish. Quite pleasant this one, but a bit too much like a drink or soft drink. Good to have a blackcurrant I can have. 180328

At at tasting, thanks, big bubbly dense pink whipped cream head, deep dark purple color, aroma of blackcurrant jam with minerals and vegetables, sour bitter berry flavor with some fruit skins, a bit strange mouthfeel. Nice but had better of this kind.

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Yoav. Deep red-purple, big pink head. A bit of pickled vegetables, yogurt, currants, acidic, lemony, medium-bodied. Nice.

Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. Faint blackcurrant smell. Not enough blackcurrant to balance the hugely aggressive sourness

Can
Pours deep purple with a creamy, pink head. Sourish, buttery aroma with lots of black currants. Sourish taste with juicy notes of black currants, butter and nettles.

Red army on the run. And sink the pink. That means: cloudy red…or maybe Deep Purple body and a solid pink head. The aroma was a bit weird. Very fruity. Blackcurrant ohoi. Quite dry and acidic stuff. But the acidity du not kill your taste buds. Decent balance. But you have to like a fruity, tart and acidic beer to enjoy this. I do. Loads of blackcurrant in the flavor. Feels like a blackcurrant juice with alcohol. Nice and refreshing.

500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 10/11/2018. Pours opaque ruby red/purple color with a 2 finger dense and rocky pink head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy black currants, fruit skin, cherry, berries, lemon, raisin, plum, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, bread dough, light leather/musty funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, black currants, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy black currants, fruit skin, cherry, berries, lemon, raisin, plum, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, bread dough, light leather/musty funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light yeast/fruit tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy black currants, fruit skin, cherry, berries, lemon, raisin, plum, green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, herbal, grass, wheat, bread dough, light leather/musty funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, black currants, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour/wild ale! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, black currants, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Insanely jammy currants with balanced Brett/Lacto complexity; and a great bready malt backbone against acidity. Reminds me of Schramm's Black Agnes a lot, the currant presence is nearly the same level. A highly amazing offering.

17.02.2018, 0,5l can @ home:
Nice pink creamy longlasting head, hazy deep reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, leafs, fruit stones, butterscotch, berry skin, winegum, grass, sour dark berries, paper, alcohol, sawdust, vegetables. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, berry skin, fruit stones, grass, minerals, alcohol, unripe black currants, leafs, paper, sawdust, weeds, medicine. Medium to longlasting bitterness, medical and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Just weird!
