On tap at Rip Current Brewing North Park, San Diego. Pours black with tan head. Milk chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, some roastiness. Quite sweet. Smooth, not much complexity. Medium bodied.

On tap at Rip Current, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings he cocoa nibs out massively upfront, with a sort of a wild animal character. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry cocoa nibs ands one earthy notes. Simple beer that lacks much depth. Meh.
