bottle at home. amber, clear color. small off-white head. smells liqueurish, alcoholic, malty, honey, dried fruits, plums, light glue. overall quite like the smell. full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel, a lot of malt sweetness, honey, liqueurish, (warming) alocholic, also glue-like notes, some dried fruits again, apricot, some light hoppy grass and pine notes on the finish. finish is lightly bitter / alcoholic. overall quite good, the glue-like / sharp alcoholic taste is distracting and too strong for me, but appart from that i like it.

Bottle. Cloudy red amber, low offwhite head. Musty fig-like, apple, vanilla, wooden (cedar), earthy, light mineral notes. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. Feels a bit rough around the edges, but it is certainly very interesting and a direction worth pursuing further.

Bottle. Aroma peach, fruity, caramel. Lightly hazy golden-orange colour. Taste is peach, fruity, alcohol, boozy. Enjoyable, nicely hiding the actual alcohol content. All in all quite enjoyable beer.

Bottle from Bierzauberei. Golden, slightly amber clear body with a beautiful big, creamy, white head, with small and medium bubbles. Aroma of yeast, must, honey, spices, bread, some citrus. Tastes of spices, grass, bread, honey, bubblegum, earth, some yellow fruits, very complex, great balance between a light bitterness, sweetness and earthyness! Full body with a creamy texture, lively carbonation and a smooth spicy and bready finish. The high ABV isn’t really noticeable, very smooth to drink. Great! Easily the flagship beer of the Bierzauberei, very complex and greatly balanced, it offers a uniqueness you won’t often find in Austrian beers!

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour, a lot of sparkling is going on, with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma, herbal and grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is initially dry to bitter hoppy, subtle sweetness, later with intensening perfumed character, a soapy touch of coriander, some citrus.
