On tap at the brewery/taproom Clear deep brown. Thin tan head. Nice roast and some charcoal notes. Smooth body and a little dark Woody bite. Good

On tap at the brewery pours brown topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts light ash. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts roast ash and some chocolate.

On tap at Geaux, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oak and vanilla upfront - the oak really steals the show on the nose. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak upfront, followed by vanilla and a touch of cocoa. A very complex porter - the oak staves really propel this into excellence.
