On tap at Geaux, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of spicy Belgian yeast, some clove and bananas, though there are rotting vegetables in there as well. Flavour is very spicy, with lots of clove upfront, followed by banana and lightly sweet fruity esters. Not very convincing, but at least not a sickly sweet bomb like so many American tripels.
