On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is rather harsh, with earthy roasted malt, boozy bourbon barrels and some dark bitter cocoa. Flavour follows in the same manner, with harsh bourbon barrels, booze, bitter cocoa and some earthy roast. Messy and incoherent, but it's still somewhat pleasant.

On tap at St. Augustine during 1500 menu event. Shared with mcberko (thx, Matt!). Pours a dirty opaque brown with a tan head. Aroma is some bourbon, chocolate and dark fruits. Taste is very fruity with some hoppt bitterness. It very weird as for BA stout, but it is nice.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Black color with frothy beige head. Strange brew, both aroma and flavor are lightly sour and vinous; the mouthfeel is quite weak, the roasted malt flavor is light too, with some chocolate flavor. Ordinary bitterness.
Simplistic interpretation.
