This beer is what we call a west coast twist. This twist on this IPA gives the beer it’s red tone by using a specific red Canadian Prairie malt and mixing in west coast style hops giving it a unique flavour profile.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a hazy dark amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out vegetal notes, light hop resins and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of hop resins, wood, vegetal notes and biscuity malt. Rather astringent in an awkward way. It's okay.
