On tap at Ancestry in Tualatin, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar, bubblegum and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar, fruity esters and bubblegum. Nothing like an authentic dubbel: sweet, estery and lacking depth. Bad.

On tap at the brewery. A cloudy brown orange color with a medium white head. A big spicy toffee nose. Yeasty, dark fruit, spicy flavors like nutmeg, caramel. Solid beer.
