Draft pour, Beer Junction, West Seattle. A slightly darker golden pour, patchy fizz head. Just had to figure out what this wacky multi style brew would be like. Not overwhelming in any category, the coffee, sour, and Belgian notes are all well blended and smooth. Easy going taste for a stronger beer. Enjoyable, unique offering here.

On tap at Cascade, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is bizarre, with lots of coffee grounds upfront, and no hint of the tripel. Flavour is utterly bizarre, with heaps of acidic tartness followed by some nice coffee grounds. Not sure why you'd throw coffee into a tripel - doesn't really work, but it's pleasant enough. Okay.
