Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a near white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The mild aroma, from an aroma killing tumbler, offers up hints of spicy hops and citrusy grapefruit and then a hit of dankness at the end of the draw. The taste delivers a pleasing depth of juicy grapefruit, bitter grapefruit and bitter spicy hoppiness. The bitterness dominates and pulls up some dankness into the finish just as a modest cracker like maltiness bubbles to the surface. This is tasting pretty damn nice as the hop bitterness keeps it lively and fairly sessionable.

On tap at Beer Research Institute, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a boatload of piney hops and just enough crisp biscuity malt to back. Flavour brings out lots of piney hops, followed by biscuity malt. Fairly astringent, with a bitter finish. Not amazing, but it's solidly done.
