Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a nice looking light tan head. The aroma offers up pear, thin pear cotton candy, spicy Saison yeastiness and then thin layers of citrus and malts. The taste delivers smoothness and quickly getting into spicy Saison notes and then some citrus like hoppiness. To midway a modest level of sweet apple and pear join in. This is nice with plenty going on and ends on the dry side. I love Saisons that stay away from the sweetness. Nice one.

On tap at Beer Research Institute, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, with fruity esters, and a light floral character. Flavour is sweet, with lots of residual candied sugar, saison yeast and fruity esters. Nothing like a real saison - sweet and floral, without any yeast complexity. No good.
