Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a nice dark body that supports a light mocha colored head. The aroma offers up minerals, thin burnt malts and some highly toasted bread. The taste delivers dark roasted malts to thin burnt malts, a dash of molasses sweetness, chocolate and then heading into more highly roasted malts. Pretty solid. The ABV isnβt noticeable at all.

On tap at Lochiel, pours black wicoffee h a medium tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, dry cocoa and caramel undertones. Flavour is rich and robust, with a wonderful roasted character, followed by a little caramel and dry dark cocoa. Hearty palate, with plenty of depth. Excellent.
