Our first Award Beer placed 2nd in the “Best of the Northwest 2015” from Sip Magazine. We throw lots of Cascade, Summit and finish off with Citra hops to give this perfect summer ale its crisp, clean, citrusy finish. Get it while it lasts, just like summer, when its gone so will Sargon.

Hazy golden color. Mild citrus hop aroma. Very good crackery malt base, a bit of bread, cereals; the citrusy hop is in perfect balance, a bit zesty, definitively resiny.

12 oz. can, pours a hazy dull copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops upfront, some resins, and lightly sweet cereal malt. Very nice use of the citra, finishing quite piney. Creamy palate. Excellent by the books IPA.

Sampled from the tap at Dreadnought brewing. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus note with a bitter bite and a light grain backbone. Flavor has the same nice citrus note with a light bitterness and some grains backing.

Pint at the brewery, which led to a growler pour at home. So, apparently this beer is the autumn/winter response to their Session Ale being "out of season". Damn, why not keep this one instead!? Or better yet, keep both on! The more, the better, and the beer is solid. Pours a lighter, clear golden color with a foaming head. Citrus, fruity hop aroma. Flavor is crisp and refreshing up front. A juicy, citrus heavy hop profile to follow. Melon like character as well, to make this more interesting. Cool and creamy. Overall, a multi-dimensional, well put together IPA from a brewery that is mostly unknown, therefore underrated in my opinion. A well articulated creation with the Citra hops. 3 pints down, and I’m not ready to be done with this beer yet.
