Half pint, cask at Ye Olde Black Boy, shared with Finn. Fair tan-coloured head to a jet black body. Dotted spots on the glass. Mid-sweet, roasted aroma. The taste profile includes earthy malts, chocolate and liquorice followed by a lightly smoked ending. Smooth on the swallow. Pleasant stuff (Hull 25.11.2015).
