Half pint, cask at Ye Olde Black Boy, shared with Finn. Fair tan-coloured head to a jet black body. Dotted spots on the glass. Mid-sweet, roasted aroma. The taste profile includes earthy malts, chocolate and liquorice followed by a lightly smoked ending. Smooth on the swallow. Pleasant stuff (Hull 25.11.2015).

Fra cask på Olde Black Boy Hull 25 Nov 15. Svart. Lavt, litt farget skum. Tynn teppelacing. Utmerket aroma av melkesjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er mørk frukt. Litt tørr avslutning.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 1 - London. Pours deep brown with a light, tan cream head. The nose holds light chocolate, mellow smoke, toasted bread. Light-medium sweet flavor with some earth, leaves, toast, dried fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly smokey on the finish, with further cocoa, earth. Nice beer.
