Bottle at home this was a Grimm i thought I’d missed so quite pleased to find it upstate at Latham beverage which had nice Grimm selection. Dark pour light purple tinge. Nose is woody, chocolate, and berry. Tastes of blackberry, cranberry, wood, cocoa nibs, wine. Slight tartness and chewy mouthfeel. An in-between styled brew. Quite lovely.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours mahogony with a small head a bit of lacing. Aroma is lightly vinegar with a goodnheaping of the berries. Taste is lightly sour. Kind of sweet. Plenty of berry. Good, but not too intense. Me think it good.

Sample draft @ The Stein & Vine, Brandon. Thanks Ty!

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving scant lacing. Blackberry aromas. Dry with sweet summer berry upfront turning to mildly sour blackberry before the medium length marshmallow finish.
