On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Deep brown body, thick beige head. Nose is rich and nutty, exactly what it says on the pumpclip! Taste picks up lots of roasted nuts, a bit of sweetness, and creamy too. A little bitterness at the end, very nice.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 03/10/14. Chestnut brown with a decent khaki covering that eventually fades to edgeing having put up some resistance. Nose is mellow dark fruits, nutty aroma, caramel, brown sugars. Taste comprises hazlenut, caramel, toffee fudge, sweet licks. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet notes in the close. Ok mild, does what it says on the tin!

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy dark amber beer. Small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and a little crispy. Sweetish malts, light caramel and well integrated nuts. Light dry finish. Sweetish and fine.
