Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Mile Tree 1850 Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, earthy, light wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter, roasted ,wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

Tried at the Nottingham beer festival 2015. Deep ruby colour with a thin head. Aroma is roasted malt and spice. Taste also roasted and fruity.
