Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As 1648 Jack Cade ].Clear medium red - amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, caramel, citrus hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]
