A classical stout, really easy to drink, watery for the style, roasted malt, coffee, some hop, dry, not bad at all, 07.06.18, at the flat of Geisser with friends.

15/9/2018. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours thick, almost black with a dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, lactose, deep roasting, dark fruits, hazelnut and chocolate. Medium sweetness and medium to heavy roasted bitterness. Full bodied, extremely thick texture, and very soft carbonation. Really good, and definitely the thickest beer I've had for such a modest abv.

Bottle from Oddbins. Appearance - opaque brown/blac, with a fawn head. Nose - coffee beans, earthy, creamy chocolate. Taste - coffee, milk chocolate. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture. Fairly good finish. Overall - not a fan of coffee in beers, but I was happy to drink a whole one.
