Apricot Pathways is a unique blend that combines select casks of our stock barrel aged saison with a few casks of a fresh apricot wheat based saison brewed in the summer of 2017. A small amount of fresh wit beer brewed with calendula was also added to lend a contrasting floral note to the deep fruit character.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe - Big Wood ‘18, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice barnyard funk, with apricots and some oak. Flavour is loaded with apricot upfront, followed by wild yeast and some oak. Lovely apricot dominating and complimenting the wild yeast. Excellent.

Taster at Alibi Room. Pours a dull dirty golden with a white head. Aroma is sour with some slightly sweet stone fruit and tea notes. Taste is similar with tea, fruity and barrel notes. Moderately acidic. Something unusual from Upright.
