All the Mosaics Please
From the brewers that used to refuse to do single hop beers... but still previously did like 5 of them, plus duplicates... comes this IPA only brewed with... MOSAIC... AGAIN. Wait WAIT, don’t leave! Let us explain. On the surface level, it sure looks like a “single” hop IPA. BUTITSNOT. We used 9 uniquely different lots of Mosaic, from 6 different harvest years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, & 2024!?), from 10+ different farms that we know of (because some lots are blended), in 2 different forms - T90 pellet & Cryo Pellet. Ok, still with us? So by using this many different types of Mosaic, it allowed us to create more depth and gave us more control of the outcome than your typical boring ass single hop beer. The end result is the most robust and all encompassing Mosaic hop profile we could ever dream of. Got it? Get it. Good.

On tap at Cloudburst, pours a hazy copper yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite dank, with lots of pot-like hops, resinous oils, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank hops, oily resins, and biscuity malt. Bright and resinous, with an oily finish. This is phenomenal.

32 oz crowler from Cloudbust, brought home and enjoyed a few days after enjoying a pint at the source. As good as this brew was fresh from the tap, this might be the perfect beer for kicking back and hanging out at home. Not only that, it makes a strong case for Mosaic hops to be my absolute favorite profile in an IPA. This brew is something special, even if it is just another IPA in what has become an endless series from the guys that do them as good as I've ever had them. A cloudy golden orange, pours beautifully with a brightness and one finger of cream foam head. The aroma explodes with a cool, grassy hop, and sits on top of a mellow pils and biscuit like grain. A perfect beer to start the day with. Extremely refreshing, easy drinking. The bitterness hardly exists in this IPA for me. Usually for Cloudburst beers, it's fun how much they rotate, and it's always done, done, on to the next one. If this one was available again and again, I would certainly not be complaining.
