Ordinary Belgian blond beer. Bit fruity, bit hoppy and quite sweet. Nice beer, but a little high on the CO2.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Cafe Thembi, 20130604) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, spices, caramell, Belgian style yeast, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramell and bitterness. An interesting and a bit weird dark Belgian brew. Not bad though.

Bottled. Brown colour with a good initial formation of a beige head but that quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty with notes of sugar and nuts. Flavor has toated malts, nuts, dry fruits, belgian yeast, brown sugar, caramel notes. The final is alcoholic with a sweet aftertaste with an average duration.

Clear red brown beer, big creamy light beige head, stable, adhesive leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of caramel, fugde, lots of chocolate as well, bit sweet. MF: quite some carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of caramel, little chocolaty, some cocoa powder, sourish, malts, grains, raisins. Aftertaste: caramel, some vanilla, bit sourish, some hops, dried fruits, green banana.

33cl, BB 18/06/2014.

33 cl. swing-top bottle shared @ home with t0rin0 and womencantsail. Dark brown amber with a big tanned head. Nose is quite interesting, herbal, fruity, caramel, burned sugar, dark fruits and indeed applesauce as mentioned. Taste is intriguing bitter copper with some lightly fermenting dark applesauce, bitter herbal, spice, caramel, dark sugar, light booze in the back. Big higher carb. Interesting, different, good. Maybe bit too much too easily drink but an interesting Belgian.
