Keg at The BlackLab taproom, Barcelona, 09/03/24. Light chestnut brown to amber with a decent light beige head. Nose is toffee, biscuit, dried fruit rinds, malt forward. Taste comprises brown bread, chocolate biscuit, light smoke, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not sure if the light smoky edge is intentional but works okay.

On tap at the source Brilliant deep copper with red at the edges and a good sized frothy off white head that persists. Bready toasty chocolate with bits of campfire and earth to counter.
