An accolade to a long and frustrating day. With a generous amount of hops and a low ABV, what better way to put a smile back on your face? A light golden ale with a heavy hop bitterness and flavoured with a strong fruit and citrus aroma.

Keg, at Westow House, Crystal Palace, Thursday 16th January 2014 Pours dark gold light amber with filmy white head, Loz gets butterscotch (I don’t) Really quite bitter, bit furry. Zesty in mouth, fruity, quite decent bitter golden ale. Hoppy burps aplenty. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Fruity aroma of citrus and sweet peaches but also a bit of sweaty cheese too. Rich, thick texture. Sweet, fruity hop taste with a drying hoppy finish.

Cask @ Halfway House, Edinburgh [111013]
Golden, light haze, dense bubbly white head
Aroma of sweet tropical fruit hops, soft quite sweet fruity pale malts, good zest, touch of gooseberry, quite complex fruits
Taste of grapefruit hops, bitter citrus zest, tropical fruits, nice sweet fruity pale malt background
Palate - Medium body, oily texture, bitter zest hop nicely counterbalanced by the tropical fruity sweet malts. Fimish as main flavour, nice zesty fruits, good finish
Overall - One of the best golden ales I’ve had in ages...wish I had more than a pint of this
