Keg at Tom's Tap, Crewe, 26/01/24. Black with a khaki cap that veers edgewards. Nose is chocolate, caramel cup, nutty twang, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises mellow peanut butter, tangy fruit rinds, cocoa sprinkle, toffee, dark malts, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay if lacking balance and a touch tangy.
