Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy, dark amber with a dense, off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose and a wee whiff of smoke. Rich, malty body, flowery hops, toffee and cream and again a discreet smoky note. I cannot really pick-up peat, more sort of manure. But not horrible. 040316

Bomber from Sam’s Quik Stop. Slightly hazy brown, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, molasses, earth. The taste is earth, peppers, toffee, dark fruits. Medium bodied, a hint of bitterness, lingering sweetness, low carbonation. Decent.
