Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty, smoky, burned rubber-like notes, weird earthy notes. Taste is yeasty, rubbery, fruity, smoky, pale malty. Weeeeeirrrrdddd.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a dense, white head. Initial, fresh, yeasty, spicy aroma, as you sniff deeper it gets somewhat chemical. Flavour is odd - to say the least, rubbery, chemical, yeasty with a harsh bitterness. Highly carbonated. Burned plastic. "Brewed & bottled at Munkebo Mikrobryg", the label claims. Not sure I understand, when I visited recently there was no brewery there?? 280116

Bottle 330ml. [ As Munkebo Hjemstavns Ale Special Bryg Nr 1 ].Clear medium yellow color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, smoke - rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, rubber, smoked, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - lively. [20151123]

Draft. A hazy a,ber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, bananas, and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of bananas and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Draught at SBWF 2015, second weekend.Hazy golden color, white head. SWeet, banana, estery scent. Bitter, estery, phenolic taste. Phenolic aftertaste. Medium light to fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of grass, bread and some banana. Similar taste. The body was light as was the bitterness. Drinkable but nothing special.

Tap at SBWF2015. A bit hazy yellow color, small white head. Strong apple fruity aroma. Light-bodied. Apple-fruity, banana, apple peel, low bitterness. Simple.
