Fragrant full bodied barleywine with rich malty and caramelly body, a hint of apricot jam, dried pear and peach, candied orange zest and sweet white grapes. The lingering aftertaste is soft and savoury, with mild and elegant hoppy bitterness.

Ароматный округлый барливайн с насыщенным карамельно-солодовым телом, в букете ноты абрикосового джема, вяленой груши и персика, цукатов и сладкого винограда. Финиш долгий, гладкий, с нежной чуть пряной хмелевой горчинкой.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, murky, grayish brown with a tiny, off-white head. A very oxidized nose of overripe fruit, molasses and noble rot. Hardly more than a medium body, low carbonation and again all of the above. Warming finish alcohol. Thoroughly oxidized which is okay considering the style: English Barleywine. 010523

Bottle 33 cl. Intense golden-amber colour, slightly hazy, yellow foam. Aroma: sweet, lollipops, dried apricots, caramel, esters, fortified white wine, slightly alcoholic. Taste: moderately sweet, real liquid lollipops with fruit flavours, candied and light dried fruits, dried apricots, white port, warming, good.
