An American-style pale ale. A refreshing and hop-forward beer with subtle notes of caramel balancing the smooth hop bitterness and flavours of tangerine and grapefruit. This pale ale is rounded off by the wonderful citrus aroma provided by generous additions of Cascade and Chinook hops.

Bottle from Dunnes, Longford [120515]
Dark amber, clear, thin white head, slight lacing
Aroma of caramelised orange malts, touch of toffee, soft citrus
Taste of very softy citrus zest, orange, light caramel malts, bit of toffee, caramelised orange, slight grassy notes, simple
Palate - Soft carb, medium light bojdy, little oily, soft sweet. Finish of orange malts, caramel, slight zest
Overall - Better than the Solas beers. OK. Drinkable. Maybe a tad over malty. Undemanding easy supermarket craft brew.
