Bottle from a local bottle shop. Strongly peated atoma, smokey, tar, whiskey, dark malt. Some oak, boozy. Medium sweet, boozy peaty finish. Medium body. Not a lot of Quad left.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, orangey brown with a tiny, rough, beige head. Peaty nose, but not overwhelmingly so. Boozy. Medium body, sweet plummy, overripe fruit, low carbonation - and then quite some ashy peat. Warming alcohol finish. Peat really doesn't suit beer, and especially not a Quad. 310123
