Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of fudge, marzipan and dates. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Raisiny port, grainy marzipan and notes of salmiak. Warming bitter finish.

(thanks fonefan!). Very deep copper colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fudge, some burnt wooden tones with mild chocolate. Flavour is dried fruits, some berries, mild alcohol and smoe fudgey tones to it. Smooth and quite nicely bitter too.

Bottle @ Brødrenes Burgerbar, Aarhus. Pours dark brown with a tan head, slow gusher. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, candy sugar. Flavor is sweet, malty, yeast, candy sugar, licorice root, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 300424

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep brown with an orange hue and a smallish, rough, beige head. Intense aroma of dark, dried fruits, rum and friendly phenols - the yeast has really been at work here. Medium body only. The phenols turn a little less friendly now. Very dry and woody - there's some complexity, but I simply miss some sweetness to carry the flavors. A little less attenuation next time please. Dry finish with some alcohol heat. 150224
