On tap at the taproom. Lightly unclear in the glass, dark golden orange in color and with a small, off-white head. Grapefruit, pine cones and some malts in the aroma. The flavor has a lovely bitterness, grapefruit, pine cones and some malty notes in the back. Full body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Long, piney and bitter finish. Nice indeed. 150607

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy honey color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tart, tangy and citric with notes of pineapple, grapefruit and a hint of pepper. The flavor was tangy, tart and bitter with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, line and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Nikki's Liquors, 4/10/15
Aroma: The nose is caramel malts, herbal hops, a bit of citrus, and some buttery notes
Appearance: Pours a nice orange color with a small off-white head and fairly coating lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, sweet up-front, slightly bittery mid-palate, with a bitter close
Palate: Light-medium bodied, with a fairly smooth feel, and a clean, dry finish
Overall Impression: This isn't a terrible beer by any means, but there's definitely some flawed notes that just have to keep the score down here.

12 oz. bottle from a seasonal mix 12 pack purchased at Bottles, Providence, RI. Cloudy orange color with great retention in a snifter. Aroma is citrus rind of grapefruit and tangerines mixed with an herbalness. The flavor show light biscuit / bready malts in the main base with light pine and then finishing with the citrus rind. The rind bitterness come off a little harsh.

Bottle pour to shaker. Orange-gold with little head. Heavy malt but not offensive. Full-bodied palate. Hint of sweetness and bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose and taste of toasted grain, grass, orange peel, orange peel, slightly burnt bread and earth. Lighter medium body. A bit of charred pine in finish.

Bottle. Caramel malt, sweet orange hops, and a light oily petrolium type aroma. Hazy amber with a large off-white head. Herbal hops, citrus peel, and biscuity malt flavor, as well as band-aid, which I suspect is related to that oily aroma. Medium body, soft carbonation.
