Black Hops is a distinctive Black "IPA" of 4.6% abv, brewed with East Anglian Malt and 3 types of American hops. Rather than the somewhat contradictory description of black "IPA" we are calling it an India Black Ale or IBA.

Cask at GBBF ’15, 11/08/15. Light black with a decent khaki covering that retains well. Nose is earthy hop, light spice, dark red berries, touch of pine and citric leanings. Taste comprises light pine, liquorice, raisens, cocoa powder, light charr. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough XDA.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015 day 1. orange dark brown coloured pour with a a halo of tan head. Aroma is dirty pine, toast, faint citrus. Flavour is sweet toast, biscuits malts, raisin, pine, little burnt grass. Palate is medium light, lowish carbonation. Lingering clean citrus.
