Many thanks to Nisse666 for this bottle! Fantastic smooth and mild beginning. The lactic sourness is mild, the beer in body smooth and round. The raspberries fit in great, nice fruity sourness, extreme highly drinkable with a nice sourish fruity aftertaste. Nice balance between sourness and fruits, fantastic fresh sourish aftertaste. Great!

Swedish raspberry Berliner Weisse, slow gusher but manageable. Off-white, loosely structured head vanishing in instants, leaving nothing but a wafer thin rim on the edge and some disperse dots in the middle. Salmon pink colour, completely cloudy and ’muddy’ from the start. Aroma of pink raspberries and raspberry bushes, the typical salted tomato odour which always reoccurs in beers made with real raspberries, pink grapefruit flesh, roses, unsweetened yoghurt, soap, lime juice, watermelon, chalk, stale sweat somewhere. Crisp onset, fruity with lively red raspberry but also estery hints of gooseberry and unripe melon, nicely tart with a thin and soft lemony acid accent but nothing puckering; soft and eventually almost flat carbonation, clearly the carbon dioxide bonding did not go all too well here. Salty tomato flavor present throughout along with a thin yoghurty sourness and a soapy wheatiness; body is supple but thin and on the watery side, as can be expected from a low alcohol beer. Breadiness in the finish due to a lot of yeast, no discernible hop bitterness apart from a brief, dim, vague background bitterish accent, refreshing fruity esters and raspberry go down into the throat and provide structure to the finish, chalky touch as well, like in the traditional Berliner Weisses. Another of these new craft beer interpretations of the style using real fruit as an ironic nod to the Himbeersirup tradition (which is intended to have the opposite effect namely to sweeten the sourness), refreshing, sour in a straightforward and mellow way, but technically far from perfect, with quickly dissolving foam, a completely murky appearance right from the start and unbonded carbonation. Bit simplistic in comparison with other species of this specific breed, too, but this easygoing character cannot be considered a big problem in this style so I will not take that into account in rating.

Cloudy orange amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, disappears quickly, light lacing. Aroma fruity, orange, raspberry. Taste light sweet and medium sour, raspberry, gooseberry, light lemon. Sweet and sour aftertaste, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, easy to drink.
