Bottle online from Beermoth, Mcr. Pours oily black with tan foam. Aroma: deep roast, dark chocolate coffee, brown sugar, mild liquorice. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, rich, dark chocolate, caramel, treacle, oak, whisky barrel kiss. Warming, boozy finish. Full body with soft carbonation

Håndverkeren 260924. Black color with some beige bubbles. Aroma is alcohol, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, booze, oak, caramel. Powerful beer.

Bottle, at Håndverkeren. An oily, black beer with some beige bubbles on top. The aroma has roasted malts, booze, oak and some coffee and brown sugar. It's full-bodied and warming, softly carbonated and quite sweet, but not really cloying. Tannins. Roasted malts, dark chocolate hints, booze and some oak, heavy caramel sauce and a hint of brown sugar and coffee in the flavor. Lasting sweet and warming finish. Actually too sweet this one, and perhaps a bit too warming, but nice anyway. 240926
