Panda thanks to Wingman. Almost clear very dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth and mildly viscous palate, a mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, a kinda dark chocolate cake liqueur thing going on. Earthy but smooth rich coffee. Bourbon soaked rip fruits. Finishes mildly viscous and very slightly bitter. Full on and pleasingly, not oversweet.

Bottle @ Cafe Albert. Pours black no head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, maple, light vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, light spice, light vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet mild spiced finish with light warming alcohol. 081125

Pitch black liquid topped with little in the way of a tan cap that soon dissipates to nyadda.
Nose is once again decadent chocolate shavings, molasses, mellow bourbonics, toasted brown sugars, vanilla essence.
Taste comprises ripe barrel, booze tunes, molasses, chocolate, spice.
Full bodied, oily feel, light drying close with a balanced rising boost.

Peders Brewskival Warmup event 21/08/2025 - Dark sweet roasted malty with notes of chocolate, maple and toffee, some nice marshmallow and vanilla sweetness, full bodied, bourbon and nice spicy interplay into the finish. Top drawer.
